Santa Fe ALCo RSD-15's

Santa Fe was the biggest customer for the 75 locomotives of this class produced by ALCO between 1956 and 1960, buying 50 of them.  The RSD-15 could be ordered with either a high or low short hood; railfans dubbed the low short hood version "Alligators"; all the Santa Fe units were this version.  Six survive, two operational, in railway museums.
